    A NOTE FROM THE ALTAR GUILD…As you know, this year the small donation 

    envelopes for Altar Guild have been eliminated. Altar Guild is accepting donations all 

    year instead of the just one time as past years. The donation envelopes, labeled Altar 

    Guild, are on the table under the mailboxes in church. Thank You to the church 

     members who have used the envelopes already this year. The money collected 

     throughout the year will be used to purchase Altar Supplies, Banners, and Decorations

     HUMAN CARE for August will be school kits for LWR. Items needed are 24-70 or

     80 spiral page 8 x101/2 notebooks; 18-boxes of 16 or 24 colors; 17-rulers with 

     centimeters on one side and inches on the other; 27-blunt scissors. We DO NOT need

     any PENCILS, ERASERS, OR PENS.


     LADIES AID is planning on having a Quarter Night Auction on Friday, October 28

     and are looking for vendors to participate.  If you know of anyone who might be 

     interested, please contact Maxine Duncan at 618-980-0830.


     CALLING ALL RINGERS!!! It has been a long time, but the bell choir is ready to 

     resume with a full choir.  There will be an informational/organization meeting in the 

     sanctuary on September 8th at 6:00 PM. Rehearsals will be on Thursday at 6:00 PM & 

     last for 1 hour.  Although ability to read music is of course helpful, it is not necessary.

     Anyone wanting to ring but unable to attend on September 8th, may call Marcia Eden
