We strive to recognize and nurture the Christ in ourselves and each person that we encounter along the way. Our church is a thriving community of believers and lovers of the word of God. St. Peter's Lutheran Church and School has a long tradition of outreach and service to its members and the community. 2. Log onto our Facebook Page.  You don't need an account to watch the service, only if you wish to comment.


3. The service will begin broadcasting at its scheduled time (8am and 10am Sunday). If you don't see it, refresh your page, and be patient. Nearly every church is livestreaming during the shutdown, and with heavy traffic, technical difficulties are always possible. 


4. If you miss the service, check back on the Facebook page later on to view the replay.

                       ANNOUNCEMENTS

     CHURCH SERVICES… We offer 8am services outside the church and a 10am service

     inside the church. We will continue to do so for the time being. The communion

     schedule starting is as follows: Holy Communion at the 8am Service on the 1st

     Sunday of the month, Holy Communion at the 10am Service for the following

     Sundays each month. Families and individuals who are uncomfortable coming to

     church when others are here are invited to make an appointment with me for a private

     communion service.

 

    OFFICE HOURS will be every morning from 8 am to 11:30 am beginning August 3.

     SUNDAY SCHOOL classes will begin on September 6 at 9 am. Nursery thru 2nd grade will

     meet in the classroom in the annex and the 3rd through 8th in the school. We are looking for

     volunteers who would be willing to teach part-time. If interested, contact Norma Krohne at

     888-2256 or 888-2250.

 

     PORTALS OF PRAYER for the next quarter are on the table by the mailboxes.

 

     HUMAN CARE for August & September will be for LWR. We will be collecting items for

     health kits. Items needed are large sturdy combs, individual packaged toothbrushes, nail

     clipper; bath sized soap, large dark colored towel (between 20 x 40 & 52 x 27. Items can be

     brought to the church every morning from 8:30 am to 11:30 am or on Sunday morning.

     We will still take items for school kits. Boxes will be shipped in October.

 

    MEASURE OF OUR LOVE: Envelopes: $3,000; plate $53. Teacherage utilities

    $124.42; Metro East $100. Mission $10.
